Description
The Goliath Mid Blast Foundry DDR Safety Boots are specialist mid-calf safety boots engineered for demanding foundry, metalworking and high-heat industrial environments. Designed to provide rapid removal when required, the boots feature quick-release Velcro tabs together with flame-resistant construction and dedicated foundry protection.
Manufactured from durable full grain Barton print buffalo leather with a higher chrome content, the HM2005WSI provides robust protection against heat and molten metal exposure. The boot is certified to withstand molten splashes at temperatures up to 1400°C and carries an Fe foundry rating.
A 200J steel toe cap protects against impact hazards, while the integrated steel protective midsole provides penetration resistance of at least 1100N. Flame-resistant stitching and specialised foundry markings further enhance protection in high-temperature working environments.
For underfoot performance, the Mid Blast uses a lightweight, injected flame-retardant dual-density sole offering heat resistance up to 300°C. The sole is also SRC slip resistant, helping provide secure footing across demanding industrial surfaces.
Moisture-wicking and breathable materials improve comfort throughout the working day, making the Goliath Mid Blast a practical choice for foundries, steelworks, metal processing plants and other high-temperature industrial applications.
